
Teams fight for hosting rights in drive to ArenaBowl XVIII

NEW YORK â Five teams are fighting to host Quarterfinal-Round games in the Drive to ArenaBowl XVIII. The San Jose SaberCats (11-4) and Chicago Rush (11-4) have clinched home games during the Quarterfinal Round, while the Arizona Rattlers (10-5), Colorado Crush (10-5), New Orleans VooDoo (10-5), Los Angeles Avengers (9-6) and Orlando Predators (9-6) still have a chance at hosting.
Following are each team's Quarterfinal-Round hosting scenario:
SAN JOSE (11-4): Clinched a quarterfinal home game.
CHICAGO (11-4): Clinched a quarterfinal home game.
ARIZONA (10-5): Clinches a quarterfinal home game with a victory over San Jose OR losses by New Orleans, Los Angeles and Colorado.
NEW ORLEANS (10-5): Clinches a quarterfinal home game with a victory over Austin.
COLORADO (10-5): Clinches a quarterfinal home game with a victory AND a loss by either Arizona or New Orleans; OR with an Orlando loss AND a loss by either Arizona or New Orleans.
LOS ANGELES (9-6): Clinches a quarterfinal home game with a victory over Orlando AND losses by Arizona and New Orleans.
ORLANDO (9-6): Clinches a quarterfinal home game with a victory over Los Angeles AND if two of the following three teams lose: Arizona, Colorado or New Orleans.
