New Mexico United Announces Signing of Kyle Colonna

Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United is excited to announce the signing of defender Kyle Colonna. Colonna joins the Black & Yellow fresh off of four seasons at San Diego State University, in which he logged more than 4,500 minutes. Colonna was a two-year captain at SDSU, where he majored in Civil Engineering, and took the Aztecs to a ranking as high as #14 in the nation.
Prior to college Colonna grew up in Danville, CA, and was a first-team all region player at Monte Vista High School. He scored the game-winning goal and won a CIF Regional Championship.
Colonna was invited to be a trialist this preseason, and through his hard work and skill has been offered a first-team contract.
