
New Mexico United Academy Announces Addition of Six New Players

New Mexico United Academy is excited to announce the addition of six new players to their 2023 roster. These players - representing a wide swath of local clubs and high schools - will be terrific additions to the United Academy community, and will participate in all training, travel, competition, and education completely free of charge, thanks to the generous support of the Somos Unidos Foundation from New Mexicans and New Mexican businesses who believe in their mission of building access to the game of soccer.
The players joining the 2023 United Academy roster include:
#44 Eden Flores, Midfielder, Albuquerque High School, Guadalajara Soccer NM
#56 Erick Andrade, Midfielder, Cleveland High School, Rio Rapids
#57 Ivan Lozano, Defender/Midfielder, Santa Fe High School, Barcelona Academy
#78 Julian Esparza, Midfielder, Atrisco Heritage High School, Rio Rapids
#77 John Murray, Defender, Cleveland High School, New Mexico Soccer Academy
#79 Noah Roles, Defender, Cleveland High School, New Mexico Soccer Academy
Each of these players, as well as their families, and the clubs and schools they have represented have put incredible time, effort, and commitment into getting them to this point, and they should be incredibly proud" said New Mexico United Academy Director Junro Narita. "We are honored to welcome these wonderful young men into our ecosystem, and are thrilled to see what they can accomplish, as we work to continue their growth."
These players are immediately eligible to participate in United Academy training and matches.
In addition to the six full-time players listed above, the below players will be joining the New Mexico United Academy in a part-time role, allowing them to train with the team, but not play in matches:
Danny Torres, Midfielder, Albuquerque High School, Guadalajara Soccer NM
Diego Ocon-Lopez, Goalkeeper, Academy for Technology and the Classics, Rio Rapids
Kevin Trejo, Forward, South Valley Academy, Guadalajara Soccer NM
Kenny Linn, Goalkeeper, Los Alamos High School, New Mexico Soccer Academy
These players are immediately eligible to participate in United Academy training.
