New Mexico United & the Somos Unidos Foundation Announce Fourth Academy Signing, Los Alamos Native Jamie Terrazas
January 22, 2021 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) - New Mexico United News Release
Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United and the Somos Unidos Foundation are thrilled to announce the signing of the fourth Academy player in their history. Forward Jamie Terrazas will join the New Mexico United Academy Team for the 2021 season. Terrazas has played with Guadalajara Soccer and NM Rush.
"Jamie has trained with us since he was seven years old with coach Cesar Bernal," said Guadalajara Soccer Owner Eduardo Garcia. "He is an incredibly hard worker that can play many positions, we are very proud of him, and can't wait to see him succeed with the New Mexico United Academy."
Terrazas's favorite soccer team is Barcelona and his favorite player is Neymar. Terrazas, like every player in New Mexico United's Academy, will be fully scholarshipped into the program. These scholarships include registration, travel, equipment, and coaching costs. No player will have to pay a cent to compete in New Mexico United's academy. These scholarships are made possible through the Somos Unidos Foundation and the generosity of community partners and individuals.
