[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-Scorpions forward Chris Robertson has been named the CHL Oakley Three Star Player of the Month for February. The league selected the New Mexico center after collecting three first stars and one second star over the past month.

Over 12 games, Robertson led the Scorpions with 18 points (7G, 10A), helping the Scorpions to an 8-4 record. Five times during the month he collected multiple point games including three, three-point games.

In the three stars race for the CHL, Robertson is currently 10th with 40 star points. He has been named the first star of a game seven times this season, second most in the league.

UPCOMING GAMES On Friday March 6th, the Scorpions will host the annual Lobo Club night. Special UNM themed jerseys will be worn and auctioned off following the game to benefit the Lobo Club.

On Saturday the Scorpions will head to Oklahoma City for a battle with the Blazers. The game starts at 6:10 p.m. Mountain Time and can been seen on the CHL Network.

TIP A SCORPION NIGHT

The annual "Tip-A-Scorpion" night is Wednesday, March 11th at iT'Z Family Food & Fun. This year the proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. with a dozen of your favorite Scorpion players and Stanley. Scorpions' players will serve you food, bus your table and help with prize redemption. All tips they receive will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico.

In addition, 10% of proceeds from food and game purchases will be donated from iT'Z to Ronald McDonald House.
