Parkhurst Named to U.S. Roster for Mexico Game

Revs defender Michael Parkhurst was one of 22 players named by U.S. National Team head coach Bob Bradley to the squad that will face archrival Mexico on Wednesday, Feb. 6, in Houston ... Parkhurst, who has three caps with the national team, is one of seven defenders named to the squad ... on Wednesday, the U.S. will face Mexico at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) at Reliant Stadium as ESPN2 and Univision will both televise the game live ... Taylor Twellman, who has been in U.S. camp since January with Parkhurst and started the team's 2-0 victory over Sweden on Jan. 19, left camp last Friday after sustaining a minor groin injury.

CONCACAF Champions League Unveiled

The Confederation of North, Central American, Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced on Monday, Jan. 28, the new CONCACAF Champions League which will begin in August 2008 ... the new continental club championship will replace the CONCACAF Champions Cup ... 24 teams - including four from the U.S. - will participate in the event ... more information can be found at www.concacaf.com.

Revs Preparing for Bermuda Training Trip

On Wednesday, Feb., 13 - just two weeks after the start of preseason training - the Revs will travel to Bermuda for its first international training trip of 2008 ... the trip will be the team's fourth to Bermuda in as many seasons, having gone each preseason since 2005 ... the team's competition and training schedule for the trip is still being finalized and will be released prior to the team's departure.

Fox Soccer Channel to Televise Season Opener

When the Revs host the Houston Dynamo in an MLS First Kick match on Saturday, March 29, Fox Soccer Channel will be the exclusive national television outlet for the game ... the game is a rematch of MLS Cup 2007, in which the Dynamo earned a 2-1 victory over the Revs to repeat as MLS champions ... the match on March 29 marks the first time that the Revolution has hosted a season-opening match in the club's now 13-year history.

From Boston: Take Rt. 128 or Rt. 95 to Rt. 1 south in Norwood. Follow Rt. 1 south into Foxboro (DO NOT take Pine St. exit in Walpole!). Go PAST Gillette Stadium and take a right at next traffic light (Pine St. exit, Lafayette House restaurant and Seasonal Specialty Store on right). Follow exit road to end and make a right onto Pine St (Rt. 115). Go less than 2 miles and Fore Kicks will be on your left hand side.

From Rt. 495 Northbound: Take Rt. 495 North to Rt. 1 north into Foxboro and follow to Pine St. exit traffic light (Seasonal Specialty Store Plaza on left). Make a left and follow exit road to end and make a right onto Pine St (Rt. 115). Go less than 2 miles and Fore Kicks will be on your left hand side.

From Rt. 495 Southbound: Take Rt. 495 South to Rt. 1A (Wrentham Outlets exit). Turn left onto Rt. 1A (South St.) and follow (turns into Dedham St.) Rt. 1A thru Wrentham center. Stay on Rt. 1A (Dedham St.) and follow across Rt. 140. Go 1.5 miles to next traffic light, make a right onto Rt. 115 (Pine St.). Fore Kicks will be 100 yards down on your right hand side.
