New England Revolution News Release
Foxborough, Mass. - The New England Revolution (3-4-6, 15 pts.) will train twice this week - Tuesday and Friday - on the Lower Practice Field at Gillette Stadium in preparation for two home games.
The Revolution is in MLS action twice this week when the team returns home to host Western Conference leader FC Dallas (8-2-3, 27 pts.) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at Gillette Stadium (TV - Fox Sports Net; English Radio - WEEI 850 AM - tape delayed until 12 a.m., Spanish Radio - WJDA 1300 AM - live).
Following Wednesday's game, the Revs will host the New York Red Bulls (2-2-7, 13 pts.) at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 1. That game will be a live exclusive national broadcast on ESPN2, while WRKO 680 AM (English) and WJDA 1300 AM (Spanish) will also carry the game. Following the first-team game, the teams' Reserve sides will play at 8:30 p.m. on the Gillette Stadium field.
Media planning to cover practice at Gillette Stadium are required to notify the Revolution Communications office on the day prior to any session they wish to attend in order to guarantee admittance.
Expected to be available for Wednesday's game is America's newest soccer sensation, Clint Dempsey, who was the lone U.S. player to score a goal at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He, along with Trinidad & Tobago international and defender Avery John, have been absent from the Revs' lineup for the last seven weeks while preparing and playing at the World Cup.
