CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union II took on New England Revolution II at Gillette Stadium on Friday night, falling 1-0. With the loss, Union II are now in third place in the Eastern Conference with 15 points. In the first half, Meny Silva opened the scoring in the 34th minute on a strike from the left side of the box to the bottom left corner of the net to give New England the lead. Union II's best chances of the match came from Stefan Stojanovic and Chris Donovan on consecutive second half possessions. Union II outshot New England 15 to 13 but couldn't find the equalizer.
Union II are back on the road at York Lions Stadium where they will play Toronto FC II on Saturday, June 11th (8:00 p.m. ET / MLSNEXTPro.com).
