FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution Academy continued its 2021 MLS NEXT Fall season with all four teams hosting Beachside SC on Saturday, Sept. 25. All four age groups were victories on the weekend, as the Under-19 and Under-14 sides played at Maycomber Stadium in Central Falls, R.I. with 2-1 and 4-2 wins, respectively. The Under-17 claimed a 4-2 win and the Under-15s shutout Beachside, 1-0, in matches played at the Revolution Training Center in Foxborough, Mass.
In USL League One action, Revolution Academy graduate and Homegrown Player Justin Rennicks scored the game-winning goal for Revolution II in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time on Saturday, leading New England to victory over first-place Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. Six other Academy graduates featured for Revs II, with Rennicks, Damian Rivera, Colby Quiñones, and Noel Buck all starting, and Meny Silva and Hikaru Fujiwara coming off the bench. In addition, current Academy midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic started for the third consecutive game.
On Sunday, all four Revolution Academy teams will travel to New Hampshire to face Seacoast United, while Revolution II will host Forward Madison FC on Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Revolution MLS NEXT & Alumni Highlights
Forwards Triton Beauvois (2003 - Malden, Mass.) and Jason Zacarias (2004 - Billerica, Mass.) each scored for the U-19s while goalkeeper Max Weinstein (2004 - Montpelier, Vt.) picked up his second victory of the season in net.
Defender Esteban Lopera (2005 - Revere, Mass.) scored a goal and added an assist for a second consecutive match to lead the U-17s past Beachside on Saturday. The assist was Lopera's second game-winning helper of the season.
Forward Peyton Miller (2007 - Unionville, Conn.) scored his 10th goal of the season in just six games, with an assist from Edwin Flores (Wilmington, Del.), to provide the lone tally for the U-15s in a winning effort.
Forward Cristiano Carlos (2008 - Chicopee, Mass.) scored for the 10th time in six games to begin his Revolution Academy career, while strike partner Mesud Ramic (2008 - Weare, N.H.) tallied his fifth goal of the season and first game-winning tally for the U-14s.
The U-14s remain perfect this season at 6-0-0 and have outscored opponents 26-4 through the opening matches of the year.
