Cedar Rapids, IA - Just in time for Opening Day 2010, the Cedar Rapids Kernels are pleased to announce the launch of a new version of Kernels.com!
The new Kernels.com includes several new features that bring fans closer to the team, the players and the game. An expanded game center includes live in-game scoring and player information, upcoming schedule, and promotional news. Kernels.com also has feature areas dedicated to the latest video content and highlights, along with one-click access to social media platforms that gives fans opportunities to directly connect with the Kernels and other Kernels fans. Fans can also easily access the team's ticket center and view detailed info on upcoming homestands, as well as browse the latest headline news from the Kernels, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Minor League Baseball.

The Kernels open the 2010 MWL season on Thursday, April 8th at 6:35 pm against the Beloit Snappers. It's 100.7 The Fox Thirsty Thursday, where fans can purchase 12 oz. draft beer for $1.50 and 20 oz. bottles of soda and water are just $2.00. 2010 magnet schedules, courtesy of Mercy Community Physicians, will also be passed out through the entire opening homestand (April 8-10).
