
Nevada Men's Basketball to Attend Aces Home Opener April 11

RENO, NEV. - The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, announced today that Nevada Wolf Pack basketball coach Eric Musselman and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on April 11. As part of Opening Day festivities, the Reno Aces will celebrate the achievements of the 2017 Wolf Pack men's basketball team.
Led by Musselman, the Nevada men's basketball team captured the 2017 Mountain West Championship earning the right to play in the NCAA tournament. The Wolf Pack's tournament appearance was their first in ten years. Nevada fell to fifth-seeded Iowa State in the first round.
"Opening day is a celebration, not just for baseball, but for our entire community," said Reno Aces and Reno 1868 President Eric Edelstein. "We honored to have Coach Musselman and his championship team out to celebrate this special day."
The Aces will play against the Albuquerque Isotopes at 6:35 PM. Pregame festivities, including Bret Butler's retirement ceremony, will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
