
Need A Job? Visit The Cougars This Saturday

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars will hold their annual job fair for prospective seasonal employees this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Elfstrom Stadium (34W002 Cherry Lane, Geneva, IL 60134). Interested individuals are encouraged to stop by the stadium at any time during the four-hour session. Cougars staff will spend the day speaking with and interviewing applicants on an individual basis for the following part-time positions:
- Concession Stand Staff (includes cashiers, food runners, cooks, and stand managers)
- Picnic Servers
- Beer Servers
- Stadium Vendors
- Souvenir Shop Staff
- Parking Attendants
- Ushers
- Suite Attendants (waitress experience required)
- Bartender (experience required)
A great first-time job for teenagers, part-time employment for retirees, or general summertime employment for customer service-oriented people, the Cougars are seeking individuals to fill part-time positions for the 2009 season. Applicants who are not able to attend this Saturday's job fair are encouraged to stop by Elfstrom Stadium during business hours (Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Each season, the Cougars employ a seasonal staff of more than 600 people, all of which play a key role in the organization's success. The Cougars offer a memorable work experience and flexible work schedules along with other benefits, such as employee discounts on food and souvenirs.

Be among the first to wear the Cougars new 2009 game caps! Pre-orders are now being taken for two ball cap designs that will be worn by this year's team. Beginning in April, Cougars players and field staff will wear two alternate game caps, including a black cap with a new "Cougars Claw" logo. A second alternate cap will feature a green color and a modified Cougars logo. Fans can visit www.kccougars.com for a sneak peek of the two new designs, and can also place their pre-order.
