THUNDER RE-ASSIGNS KYLE WEAVER TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE TULSA 66ERS

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kyle Weaver was re-assigned to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder's NBA D-League affiliate. The re-assignment is the 38th time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate during the 2009-10 NBA D-League season and the third for Weaver. In two previous stints with the 66ers this season, Weaver averaged 12.4 points, 7.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds in five games. The assignment is the fifth of Weaver's NBA career. Weaver has appeared in 12 games for the Thunder this season, averaging 3.9 points, 1.6 assists and 19.3 minutes.

SAN ANTONIO RE-ASSIGNS ALONZO GEE TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE AUSTIN TOROS

San Antonio Spurs forward Alonzo Gee was assigned to the Austin Toros, the Spurs NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment is the 39th time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate during the 2009-10 NBA D-League season and the first for Gee in his career. Gee returns to the Toros having appeared in 36 games for the team this season before earning a GATORADE Call-Up to San Antonio on March 29. While with the Toros, Gee averaged 21.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 38.2 minutes, Gee played in 11 games for the Washington Wizards following a GATORADE Call-Up from Austin on March 7. In those games, Gee averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 16.5 minutes.

Kyle Weaver, having just been re-assigned to Tulsa from the Oklahoma City Thunder, scored a game-high 30 points on 10-for-15 shooting to lead the 66ers to a win over Sioux Falls in Game 1 of their opening round series. Mustafa Shakur and D.J. White, also on assignment from the Thunder, each scored 21 points for Tulsa. Kirk Penney led Sioux Falls with 16 points.

Alonzo Gee, on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, scored 29 points and Curtis Jerrells, also on assignment from the Spurs, added 28 points and 10 assists as the Austin Toros edged the Dakota Wizards in Game 1 of their opening round series. Maurice Baker led the Wizards with 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

Nine players with NBA D-League experience competed in three NBA games last night, one as starters.

Chris Andersen had four points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes off the bench for the Nuggets in a win over the Lakers.
