CLIPPERS SIGN JAMESON CURRY TO 10-DAY CONTRACT

The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard JamesOn Curry of the Springfield Armor today for the eighth GATORADE Call-Up of the 2009-10 NBA Development League season. Curry has started in all 19 of Springfield's games this season, averaging 16.1 points, 7.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 41.2 minutes. He has scored in double-figures 16 times, and registered four double-doubles including season-highs in points (32) and assists (16) on Jan. 9.

Malik Hairston scored a game-high 43 points for Austin while Curtis Jerrells added 30, to go with eight rebounds and eight assists. Alonzo Gee notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Toros.

Charlotte assignee Alexis Ajinca finished with a triple double (26 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks) to lead Maine. Celtic assignee J.R. Giddens, playing in his second game with the Red Claws, had 23 in the loss.

Mustafa Shakur scored eight of his season-high 32 points in overtime, to lead the Tulsa 66ers, adding eight rebounds and six assists. Cecil Brown had 23 points and five assists, while Larry Owens added 19 points, four rebounds and four steals.

Reggie Williams led six Skyforce players in double-figures with a game-high 43 points, along with eight rebounds. David Bailey added a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists, while Greg Stiemsma also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards, as well as five blocked shots.

Vipers' Mike Harris led all scorers with 34 points and 10 rebounds. It was his seventh double-double of the season. Will Conroy recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 assists. Ernest Scott chipped in 15 points and six rebounds.

The BayHawks were led by Ivan Harris, who scored 20 points to go with seven rebounds. Jackie Manuel, who returned from injury, added 17 points and former-Viper Cliff Clinckscales finished with 11 points, four rebounds and eight assists.

Carlos Powell led the way for Albuquerque with a game-high 25 points to go with six assists. Shane Edwards added 19 for the Thunderbirds while Tony Danridge also scored in double figures for with 17. Kurt Looby grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots, while Chad Toppert also hauled in double digit rebounds with 10.

Reece Gaines led seven Jam players in double figures with 23 points and seven rebounds. Blake Ahearn added 18 for the visitors.

Dakota was led by David Bell's 25 points. Romel Beck, Darren Cooper and Boo Jackson chipped in 16 points apiece for the Wizards.

Joe Crawford was the leading scorer for Los Angeles with 22 points and Frank Robinson added 18.

Energy guard PatCarroll led the way with 24 points while Iowa big men Earl Barron (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Marvin Phillips (12 points, 14 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles. Curtis Stinson also notched a double-double with 14 points and 15 assists.

Fort Wayne was led by former Energy player Rashad Anderson's 24 points and Rob Kurz added 21 points for the Mad Ants.

Mo Charlo went 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, en route to a team-high 20 points. Desmon Farmer and Majic Dorsey each added 18.

Utah was led by a 22-point effort from Luke Nevill. Andre Ingram grabbed nine boards, and Dontell Jefferson dished nine assists.
