
BayHawks Fall Short to the Vipers

ERIE - Despite outscoring the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (17-6) 57 - 40 the Erie BayHawks (10-15) couldn't surmount the Vipers early lead and fell to a 100 - 94 loss at the Tullio Arena in front of a crowd of 3726.
For the second straight night the Vipers jumped out to an early lead outscoring the BayHawks 31 -16 in the first quarter. Antonio Anderson had the hot hand for the Vipers scoring 28 points. Michael Harris added a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
For the BayHawks Alade Aminu had a game high 31 points and John Bryant notched twelfth double-double performance of the season with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Cliff Clinkscales also added a strong showing with 23 points and 8 assists on the night.
The BayHawks will square off aginst the Springfield Armor, Wednesday,
January 27 at 7 PM. It's another Smith's Hot Dogs One Buck Wednesday with one dollar Smith's hot dogs, beer, popcorn and pop. Tickets start at $5 and are sale now at the Tullio Arena box office.
