NUGGETS RECALL WEEMS
The Denver Nuggets have recalled G/F Sonny Weems from the Colorado14ers of the NBA Development League. Weems was assigned to the 14ers on Dec. 10 and averaged 18.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 2.3 apg in 10 appearances with Colorado. Weems was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the second round (39th overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft before being traded to Denverfor a 2009 second-round draft pick. In five games for the Nuggets entry in the 2008 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas this summer, Weems averaged 9.2 ppg and 3.0 rpg in 22.2 mpg.
VIPERS ACQUIRE MARCUS HUBBARD
The NBA D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced that they have acquired 6'9 power forward Marcus Hubbard. The first round pick (11th overall) of the Dakota Wizards in this year's D-League draft, Hubbard attended training camp with the Atlanta Hawks before being waived on October 14th. Hubbard then joined the Wizards and appeared in 14 games (two starts), averaging 6.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while hitting 47.3% of his shots.

The Futurecast Player of the Game, Carl Elliott hit a season-high 28 points to lead the Sioux Falls Skyforce to a 115-94 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Glen McGowan chipped in with 15 points and 15 rebounds while Bobby Jones finished with 20 points.
Rio Grande Valley was led by Stanley Asumnu's 19 points, while Smush Parker netted 16 and Alpha Bangura scored 15.
Courtney Sims tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Iowa Energy defeated the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 108-103. The Energy capitalized on six players scoring in double figures, including Othyus Jeffers' game-high 23 points and Cartier Martin's 21-point effort
Six Mad Ants scored in double figures, including DeWitt Scott's team-high 20 points. Walker Russell finished with a game-high 10 rebounds.
Will Conroy scored 24 points to pace Albuquerque. David Monds contributed with 17, while Cory Underwood and Keith McLeod had 15 points apiece. David Noel rounded out the double-figure scorers for the Thunderbirds with 12.
Oliver Lafayette had a game-high 28 points for Erie, followed by Ivan Harris with 20. Erik Daniels added 12 and Jarvis Gunter 11.
Antonio Meeking racked up 21 points, while Dave Noel and Damone Brown each scored 20. Brown also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Blake Ahearn led Dakota with a game-high 25 points, while Renaldo Major contributed 22.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
22 players with D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, eight as starters.
Aaron Brooks scored 19 points of the bench for the Rockets. Teammate Von Wafer contributed 12.
Stephen Graham of the Indiana Pacers, scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
As a starter for the New Jersey Nets, Bobby Simmons tallied 12 points and grabbed five boards.
Washington's Andray Blatche and Philadelphia's Louis Williams also scored 12 points each.
Kelenna Azubuike notched 15 points tallied in 21 minutes of play for the Warriors.
