
Idaho Defeats Tulsa for Second Showcase Win

OREM, UT Jan. 8, 2009 - Coby Karl scored a game-high 30 points as the Idaho Stampede defeated the Tulsa 66ers 82-68 at the 2009 NBA D-League Showcase taking place at McKay Events Center.
The Stampede secured a second come-from-behind win in two games, outscoring the 66ers 25-9 in the final period en route to the 14-point win. Karl scored 18 of his 30 points in the second half, finishing the game shooting 11-of-19 from the field and 7-of-10 from the stripe.
Lance Allred chipped in with 16 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, while Idaho's offense was rounded out by Luke Jackson's 13 points.
"Coming out at 11 am was tough - both teams were sluggish in the first, but we finished strong and played a great fourth quarter and got the win," said Karl of the victory.
Ronald DuPree led the way for Tulsa with 12 points and seven rebounds, while Ryan Humphry notched 13 points in the loss.
Idaho continues their road trip when they face the Anaheim Arsenal tomorrow, Jan. 9, at the Anaheim Convention Center, while Tulsa returns to action on Friday, Jan. 16 when the team hosts the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
