Nashville SC News Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club (13W-11L-10D, 49 pts.) begins preparations this week for the team's fourth-straight appearance in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs. After earning the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 49-point regular season campaign, the Boys in Gold will square off against second-seeded Orlando City SC in a Best-of-3 Series beginning Monday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. CT at Orlando's Exploria Stadium.

GEODIS Park will play host to its first-ever MLS Playoff match for game two of the Best-of-3 Series on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. CT. Fans can secure their seats for game two by purchasing tickets here. If the series is tied after two matches and requires a decisive game three, the teams will meet for the chance to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. CT in Orlando.

Nashville SC holds a 3W-2L-4D record against Orlando City SC. After not facing each other in 2022, as Nashville SC was a member of the Western Conference, the teams split this year's regular season series, with the Boys in Gold shutting out Orlando 2-0 for the Club's first road win of 2023 on April 1 and Orlando SC claiming a 1-0 victory at GEODIS Park on Oct. 4. Nashville SC is currently on a four-road-match unbeaten streak.

The clubs have met once before in the playoffs, resulting in a 3-1 Nashville SC victory on Nov. 23, 2021 at Nissan Stadium (Nashville SC's last home MLS Playoff match).
