NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club (11W-8L-5D, 38 pts.) will resume MLS Regular Season play this Saturday, Aug. 26, as it travels to take on Atlanta United FC at 6:30 p.m. CT. Nashville SC reenters league play after a strong run in the Leagues Cup 2023 tournament, ending as runner-up and securing a first-round entrance into the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.

The MLS rivals are located just under 300 miles from each other and have faced off eight times in MLS competition across series history since Atlanta welcomed Nashville SC into MLS on Feb. 29, 2020. Nashville SC has amassed a short advantage over the Atlanta side with a 3W-2L-3D record in the MLS series history. The Boys in Gold have not lost to Altlanta in the past six fixtures, dating back to Aug. 2020. Most recently, Nashville SC defeated the Georgia side 3-1 on Apr. 29, 2023 with goals from Fafà Picault, Teal Bunbury and Jacob Shaffelburg.

Meanwhile, Nashville SC's MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Huntsville City FC (9W-9L-5D, 3SOW, 35 pts.) will face off with Inter Miami CF II as its second match in a two-match homestand at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. CT. Huntsville City FC is coming off the back of a 5-2 win over Philadelphia Union II that put the team back above the playoff line in seventh place.
