Nashville SC is riding a six match winning streak at GEODIS Park following a 2-0 victory over D.C. United on July 1. Randall Leal scored his second-career brace, while goalkeeper Joe Willis earned his seventh shutout of 2023. Leal was named MLS Player of the Matchday for his efforts.
Wednesday's clash with Philadelphia will be a rematch of the first-ever match at GEODIS Park, a 1-1 draw in front of 30,109 fans on May 1, 2022 in which Leal also played hero, scoring an 85th-minute penalty to level the match.
The midweek fixture will also be Nashville SC's Marvel Super Hero Night. Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Marvel character to celebrate the occasion, or rock Nashville SC's new Americana x Captain America pre-match top, available now at the Nashville SC Team Store.
