Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - Nashville Soccer Club arrived in Major League Soccer in a way only Nashville could do. A star-studded night featured a Judah and the Lion prematch concert, a Lzzy Hale Gibson Guitar Riff and other celebrities in attendance such as Chase Rice and Lily Aldridge.
59,069 fans packed Nissan Stadium for Saturday's MLS debut, a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Atlanta United. That set the record for the largest crowd for a soccer match ever in the state of Tennessee.
It's also the third-largest crowd ever for an MLS home debut, surpassing Montreal (58,912), Atlanta (55,297) and New York Red Bulls/MetroStars (46,826). Only Orlando City and LA Galaxy had larger crowds for their MLS home debuts.
Be a part of the next great Nashville soccer moment on March 21 when we take on Columbus Crew SC at 1 p.m. at Nissan Stadium.
