
Josef Martinez Suffers Torn ACL in Right Knee

ATLANTA - Atlanta United announced today that forward Josef Martinez suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee during Saturday's match against Nashville SC. Martinez will undergo surgery on a date to be determined to begin the rehabilitation process.
Atlanta United (1-0-0, 3 points) returns to action Saturday, March 7 for its home opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against FC Cincinnati (7:00 p.m., FOX Sports Southeast, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game).
