
Nashua Comes back on Blues

In last night's matchup between the Nashua Silver Knights and the Bristol Blues, the Blues took an early lead that they were not able to hold. The Blues controlled a 4-2 lead going into the sixth inning but it did not last as the Silver Knights posted four runs in the bottom half of the inning to make the score 6-4. Before the end of the game both teams traded two runs to make the final 8-6.
The Blues were led offensively by Christian Budzik who was able to knock in two RBI's on two hits. Starting pitcher for the Blues was Ryan Lauria who was able to go four innings allowing only one run on six hits.
The losing pitcher for the Blues was Dillion Burke, who allowed three runs, two of which were earned. Silver Knights winning pitcher was Lucas Olen with Brandan Walsh picking up the save.
The Blues are back in action tonight, July 12, at Muzzy to take on the North Shore Navigators, first pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
