
Mystics Add Hutcheson, Robbins To Training Camp

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Mystics have added 6-4 Center Danielle Hutcheson and 6-1 Forward Jillian Robbins to its training camp roster. The Mystics are scheduled to begin training camp on April, 20th at Trinity University.
Hutcheson attended Albany University where she led the conference in rebounds (10.0) and blocked shots (1.8) during the 2004-05 season. That season, she garnered first team America-East honors. For the last two years, Hutcheson has played professionally in Spain and most recently in Portugal. She led her team to the playoffs while averaging 21.3 points per game and 11.2 rebounds.
Robbins attended University of Tulsa where she averaged 17.4 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game. She was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and earned conference first team and all-defensive team honors during her senior year. Robbins also received Associated Press Honorable Mention and Kodak/WBCA Honorable Mention All-America honors. In 2007, Robbins signed as a free agent with the Houston Comets.
The Washington Mystics will tip off the 2008 season on Saturday, May 17th, on the road against the Indiana Fever. Washington will host the club's home opener on Sunday, May 25th against the four-time WNBA Champion, Houston Comets at 4:00 p.m. Season tickets for the 2008 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mystics Sales Office at 1-877-DC-HOOP1 or by visiting the Mystics web site at www.washingtonmystics.com.
