
Mustangs Help Feed My Starving Children

Hoffman Estates, IL- The Chicago Mustangs, proud members of the Major Arena Soccer League (www.MASLSoccer.com), joined staff and friends in packing meal bags for the Feed My Starving Children organization Tuesday afternoon.
The purpose of the organization is to provide specifically formulated meals rich in nutrients and protein for malnourished children in nearly 70 countries. On this particular day, the Mustangs joined volunteers in packing meals to be sent to Nicaragua. The Mustangs carried their hot streak from the playing field to the packing tables as they packed 34,776 meals equaling 161 boxes, 5 more than the previous boxes packed record for a 2-hour session! The Mustangs family was all smiles as they packed enough food to feed 95 children in just a few hours.
