Musketeers Swap Defensemen with Dubuque

Sioux City, Iowa - The Sioux City Musketeers have traded defenseman Ryan Zuhlsdorf to the Dubuque Fighting Saints in exchange for defenseman Pat Holway.

Holway, from Cohasset, Massachusetts, played for the Boston Advantage prior to being drafted by the Fighting Saints in Phase 2 of the 2015 USHL Draft. He was the Saints 6th round pick, 94th overall last May. The 6' 4" blue liner is committed to play collegiate hockey at the University of Maine. He was drafted by the Detroit Redwings in the 2015 NHL Draft in the 6th round, 170th overall. Holway has played in 37 games for the Saints this season, scoring a goal and 6 assists.

Zuhlsdorf, who is committed to play collegiately at Minnesota, is in his second full year in the USHL. He was drafted by Sioux City in Phase 1 of the 2013 USHL Draft, 6th round, 79th overall. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 5th round, 150th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft. The Edina, Minnesota native appeared in 30 games for Sioux City this season, scoring 23 assists along the way. In 56 games last season, he scored 3 goals and 19 assists for 22 total points on the season. He played in all 5 playoff games for Sioux City, scoring a pair of assists in a 5 game series that saw the Musketeers fall to the Sioux Falls Stampede.

The Musketeers return to action this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday night in Waterloo and Sioux Falls, respectively. The team returns to the Tyson Events Center on Sunday, February 28th for a 3pm game against the Madison Capitals.
