Munichiello Gets the Call

Delaware Thunder News Release

The Delaware Thunder Professional Hockey Club would like to congratulate Thomas Munichiello, from Weymouth Massachusets on signing a PTO with The Worcester Railers of the ECHL, an affiliate of the New York Islanders. Munichiello played 43 games with the Thunder in 2019-2020,  scoring 12 goals and tallying 18 assists while contributing both offensively and defensively. C.E.O/ President Charles F. Pens Sr. stated, "We are proud to have one of our players move up for this great opportunity with the New York Islanders affiliate. Tommy is a hard-working skilled player, who deserves the chance to showcase his skills."  Dave Monteiro, who is the New England Scout for the Delaware Thunder and a scout for the New York Islanders affiliate, had high praise for Munichiello. "Tommy has a great hockey I.Q and works hard on every play and possession." The Delaware Thunder wishes Tommy all the best at the Worcester camp.
