Mulder's Career-High Not Enough, Vipers Beat Force 125-89

Edinburg, TX - Behind a combined 46 points from Anthony Lamb and Mfiondu Kabengele, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers were able to handle the Sioux Falls Skyforce 125-89.

Mychal Mulder posted a career-high 39 points on 13-21 FGA and a career-high 11-17 3PA. Mulder added five assists in the loss for the Skyforce (12-16).

The Vipers (21-6) were able to snap Sioux Falls' four-game road winning streak, the longest since 2015-16.

Behind 22 first quarter points from Mulder (6-7 3PA), the Skyforce was able to stay within striking distance as the Vipers took a 36-26 lead after the first quarter. They went on to outscore Sioux Falls 89-63 in the final three periods.

All seven RGV players scored 15-plus points. Tyler Bey had 16 points and a career-high 21 points in the winning effort.

Micah Potter secured his 10th double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Mario Chalmers rounded out the Force players in double figures, as he had 11 points on 4-8 FGA.

Sioux Falls returns home to face the Iowa Wolves (11-14) on Sunday at 3:00 PM CST from the Sanford Pentagon. The Vipers face the Memphis Hustle (12-16) at home on Saturday at 7:30 PM CST.
