Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
3/16 3-1 win vs. Rio Grande Valley
Ken Carroll held the Killer Bees scoreless through two periods as Chris Abbott, Cam Abbott and Karlis Zirnis all scored in the Mudbugs first victory against the Killer Bees this season. The Mudbugs held Rio Grande Valley scoreless on five power play chances throughout the game.
3/17 6-3 win at Wichita
Jason Williamson's 75 foot wrist shot from the left wing broke a 2-2 tie in the third period and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs stunned a crowd of over 9,000 people at the Kansas Coliseum by rattling off four third period goals on the way to their sixth straight win. Five different Mudbugs scored at least two points as the Bugs took five of six possible points in games at the Kansas Coliseum in 2006-2007.
3/19 6-3 win vs. Tulsa
Ken Carroll set a new Mudbugs record for saves in a single game with 57 while Cam Abbott hustled his way to his third hat trick of the season. Both teams were whistled for over 150 PIMS and the Mudbugs were shorthanded two players on seven occasions but held on strong for the victory.
MUDBUGS STARS OF THE WEEK
CAM ABBOTT - Extended his point streak to twelve games and his goal streak to seven games, a CHL best.
KEN CARROLL - Posted wins against Rio Grande Valley and Tulsa, set the new Mudbugs record for saves in a single game.
JOHN DECARO - Has five points in his last three games.
FROM FOE TO FRIEND
A Tulsa Oilers victory over the Memphis RiverKings tonight in regulation would clinch a Northeast Division title for Bossier-Shreveport.
TEXAS ROADHOUSE
The entire team will be at the Texas Roadhouse in Bossier City tonight (3/20/07) from 5-7 PM located at 1005 Gould Drive. Stop by and say hello to the guys on your way home from work.

Two Mudbug players will be at the Sonic on Airline Drive in front of the Super Wal-Mart in Bossier City from four until six PM on Wednesday, March 21st.
