Reiter Captures CHL Oakley Goalie Of The Week

LAREDO, Texas - Bucks goalie Kevin Reiter was selected as the Central Hockey League Oakley Goalie of the Week as announced by the CHL on Monday. Reiter went 2-0-0, allowing just one total goal in capturing the honor. Bucks playoff tickets are now available. For more info call (956)-718-BUCK (2825).
Reiter continued his fine season by improving his record to 16-6-1 with both home and away wins over Austin. Friday evening he was perfect in blanking the visiting Ice Bats by a score of 4-0 for his second shutout of the season. Two days later he earned a 2-1 road win by stopping 26 of 27 Austin shots.
Reiter, a Pittsburgh, PA native, has excelled this season while splitting time with teammate Eric Marvin, now ranking second in the CHL with a 2.35 goals against average, trailing only the 2.27 mark of Bossier-Shreveport's John DeCaro.
Reiter has also posted wins in eight of his last nine decisions.
He is the third Bucks player this season to capture a weekly award and the first goalie.
