Mudbugs Announce Season Ticket Holder Party

BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are pleased to announce plans for our 2008-2009 season ticket holder party, to be held on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:00 pm at the CenturyTel Center. The Mudbugs would like to invite all season ticket holders and corporate partners to attend the event for food, fun and a sneak peek at the 2008-09 Mudbugs!
"It's very important for us to recognize and thank all of our incredible season ticket holders for their loyalty and continued support of this organization," said team President & General Manager Ray Delia. "This is a great opportunity for us to show them how much they're valued, so we hope to see everyone come out on the 14th to interact with the players and get this season started off on the right foot."
Join us at 6:00 Tuesday evening as all Mudbugs players, coaches and staff members will be on hand to kick off the team's 12th season in style. Providing food for the party will the local flavor of Johnny's Catfish & Seafood (located at 5130 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport). Season ticket books for 08-09 will be available for pick-up and the "Swamp Shack" team store will be open so season ticket holders can have the first opportunity to purchase all the newest Mudbugs merchandise for this season.
Attendees will also be the first fans to see the 08-09 Mudbugs skate on the CenturyTel Center ice when they are treated to a special private practice session on Tuesday evening. In addition to the practice, Mudbugs players will be involved in unveiling Bossier-Shreveport's newly redesigned uniforms for this season.
Those season ticket holders who participated in our 2008 "Front of the Line" sale will also get an extra benefit at the party with a chance to win some great prizes. If you had your seats paid for in full by May 30th, you should have received an invitation to the event in the mail. That invitation contains your tickets to enter into the drawings for those prizes. We'll be giving away a trip to the 2009 CHL All-Star game in Colorado, season-long food and beverage passes, a plasma TV, matching his and hers leather Mudbugs jackets, and much, much more.
Starting on Monday, October 13th, season ticket holders who are unable to attend the party can stop by the Mudbugs office anytime Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to pick up their tickets.
If you don't have your season tickets for 2008-09, it's not too late to purchase yours and get an invite to the party! Call 318-752-BUGS or stop by the team office inside CenturyTel Center to get your season and group tickets. The Mudbugs will open the Central Hockey League regular season at home next Friday night, October 17th, against the rival Texas Brahmas.
