Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League were once again out in the community in full force last week. Here is a list of where Bucks coaches, players, front office staff, and Bucky were last week, and where they are going this week. Look for the weekly Bucks community update on www.laredobucks.com.
Last week the Bucks organization attended 13 different events in Laredo, including the Pink to do Walk at LCC last Saturday (Oct 4), and the Boy vs. Cancer Bowling Tournament at Jett Bowl last Sunday (Oct 5).
This Thursday (Oct. 9th) Bucks Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski will be the guest speaker at the Noon Optimist Club at the Holiday Inn. Coach Rosco will update the club on the team's training camp.
Below is a list of the events the Bucks organization attended last week, and will attend this week.
WHERE WE'VE BEEN (September 29th-October 5th):
Monday, September 29th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks attended the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites.
Tuesday, September 30th: Front Office Members Nicole Kupaks, JR Rathbun, Sara Navarro, Jennifer Davilla, Rory Brady, Arturo Ortega, Kyle Reynolds and Justin Farris attended the Laredo Chamber of Commerce Award Ceremony 2008, at the Laredo Country Club.
Tuesday, September 30th: Corporate Partnerships Executive JR Rathbun attended the Young Professionals meeting, at TAMIU.
Wednesday, October 1st: Account Executive Justin Farris attended the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn.
Wednesday, October 1st: Front Office Members JR Rathbun and Kyle Reynolds attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Holding Institute Child Development Learning Center, 1102 Santa Maria Ave.
Wednesday, October 1st: Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady attended Toastmasters, at the Chamber Boardroom.
Wednesday, October 1st: Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway, and Bucky attended a Pep Rally for Gonzalez Middle School.
Wednesday, October 1st: Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady attended the Veterans Meeting, at Post 59.
Wednesday, October 1st: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds attended the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing.
Thursday, October 2nd: Corporate Partnerships Executive JR Rathbun attended the Bienvenidos Committee Meeting, at the Chamber Boardroom.
Thursday, October 2nd: Front Office members JR Rathbun, Rory Brady, Kyle Reynold, Keith Moore, Justin Farris and Arturo Ortega attended the Laredo Chamber of Commerce Mixer, at the UT Health Science Center SA, at 1937 East Bustamante.
Saturday, October 4th: The Laredo Bucks Front Office Staff and Bucky participated in the Pink to Do Walk, at LCC South.
Sunday, October 5th: The Laredo Bucks players and Front Office staff participated in the Boy vs Cancer Bowling Tournament, at Jett Bowl.

Wednesday, October 8th: Account Executive Justin Farris will attend the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn, at noon.
Wednesday, October 8th: Front Office members John Beckelhymer, JR Rathbun, Nicole Kupaks, Rory Brady will attend the Business of the Month Celebration for KGNS, 120 W. Del Mar Blvd., at 3pm.
Wednesday, October 8th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds will attend the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing, at 7pm.

Since 2001 the Laredo Bucks take pride that they have been heavily involved in the Laredo community. The Bucks front office, coaching staff, players and Bucky have appeared at over 390 events in 2008, and look forward to many more.

The Bucks will open their seventh CHL season at the LEC on October 17th against the Rocky Mountain Rage.
