
Mrazek to Detroit, Coreau and Ouellet to Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich . - The Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday assigned goaltender Jared Coreau and defenseman Xavier Ouellet to Grand Rapids and recalled goaltender Petr Mrazek to Detroit.
Grand Rapids concluded its preseason play with a 1-1 record in two neutral-site games against the Lake Erie Monsters on Saturday and Sunday. The Griffins will open their 18th regular season on the road this weekend when they face the Rochester Americans on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:05 p.m., followed by a game against the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 3 p.m.
