Pirates Assign 4 to Gwinnett Gladiators, Release Porowski from PTO

Saco, Maine - Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Phoenix Coyotes have assigned Josh Currie, Justin Weller, Philippe Halley, and Chris Rawlings from the Pirates to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL. In addition, Treliving also announced that forward Mitch Porowski has been released from his tryout.

The Pirates Training Camp roster currently stands at 27 players.

The Pirates open their first full season at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on October 9th at 7 PM when they look to defend their VIP Cup Series title, presented by VIP Parts, Tires, and Service, against the Manchester Monarchs.
