
Pirates Launch New Website

Saco, Maine - The Portland Pirates, AHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, launched a newly redesigned website on Tuesday October 1. The site was designed and produced by Infinity Pro Sports. The 2013-14 season is presented by Dunkin' Donuts.
"The new PortlandPirates.com is a user friendly, streamlined site with a number of advanced features that will help the fan experience," said Chris Knoblock, Pirates Director, Communications & Media Relations. "We're excited to have this new look and new technology for our web presence as we start a new era of Pirates hockey."
The redesigned site features a new, sleek look with simple navigation and multimedia rich features, including an interactive calendar. With fan polls and surveys readily available, as well as heavy social media interactivity, the new PortlandPirates.com will promote fan engagement while providing the general public with the most up to date Pirates news.
The Pirates open their first full season at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on October 9th at 7 PM when they look to defend their VIP Cup Series title, presented by VIP Parts, Tires, and Service, against the Manchester Monarchs. Puck drop is set for 7 pm. Season, group, flex and family ticket packages are now available by calling (207) 828-4665 or by calling the Colisee box office at (207) 783-2009 ext. 525.
