The Owen Sound Attack, in partnership with McArthur Tire and 92.3 The Dock has teamed to help the fight against prostate cancer! All teams across the Canadian Hockey League have been challenged to raise both awareness and funds for Movember. McArthur Tire, 92.3 The Dock and the Attack want YOU to do your part!

Movember is an annual, month-long moustache growing and appreciation charity event which is about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing so for a serious cause; men's health and the fight against men's cancers and depressions. "It was an easy decision for us to support The Attack and the CHL's initiative to raise awareness for prostate cancer this Movember." Stated Matt Mise, Promotions Director for 92.3 The Dock. "We are supporting this not just because we appreciate a well-groomed moustache but because over 25,000 Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 alone... Movember acts as a reminder for men to book their annual physical."

In past seasons, the Attack players have supported this cause internally, but this year, in conjunction with the CHL, the Attack wanted to take their campaign public. "We are extremely proud to be partnered with McArthur Tire and 92.3 The Dock for this great cause.", stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. "Last November, Movember raised over 22 Million dollars across Canada and we're hoping our fans and the residents of Bruce-Grey can contribute to that and make us the Number 1 team in the CHL in funds raised for Movember."

The Attack, McArthur Tire and 92.3 The Dock has partnered to give all men the chance to win the Movember Ultimate Guys Night Out in Owen Sound! Dinner for four at a local restaurant, four tickets to an Attack home game, $100.00 spending money and your chance to be announced as he Main Mo Man at the Attack's November 30th home game! (See rules below)

Ways that we are creating awareness and ways YOU can help!

1) First Off, Take a photo of your clean shaven face and email it to attack@bmts.com or submit it to the Attack's Facebook Page or Twitter (attack@ohl) with the Subject Line "Moustache". Your picture will go on the Attack Website on our Movember Page and you will have a chance to be crowned the Main Mo Man on November 30th! (See the complete list of rules below)

2) Click on our Movember Icon above or click here to be taken to our Attack Movember page where you can help McArthur Tire, The Attack and 92.3 The Dock reach our $10,000.00 fundraising goal!

3) Drop in to the Attack Office and drop some change (or bills!) into the Movember Collection Box or Visit the Fan Service Table in the South Concourse during all November Home Games!

4) Visit our good friends at 92.3 The Dock and McArthur Tire and drop a little change into their collection boxes beginning November 1st!

5) When you get your snow tires on at McArthur Tire or your service work done, donate $1.00 to the Movember Campaign!

6) Come to Movember night with the Attack on November 30th vs. Barrie and .50 cents from EVERY walk up ticket sold will go directly to our Movember Campaign..the Main Mo Man will also be crowned that evening at the game!

7) All of the Attack players (the ones that CAN grow facial hair) will be growing out their moustaches in support of McArthur Tire Movember and will be collecting donations.you can pledge yourself or pledge your favourite player!

*Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20.00 or more. Donation forms will be at all 3 locations beginning November 1st

RULES for McArthur Tire Movember

1. Each contestant must begin November 1st with a clean shaven face

2. For the entire Month of November, each "Bro" must grow and groom a moustache

3. There is to be NO joining of the moustache to your sideburns.that is a beard.

4. Should you choose to grow handlebars, there is to be NO joining of the handlebars to your chin.that is a goatee

5. Final Pictures must be submitted to attack@bmts.com or to the Attack Facebook Page by November 24th.

6. The FIVE best "Mo's" will picked out by the Attack players and will enter into the final contest.

7. The "Bro" deemed to have the bushiest, manliest moustache as judged by voters on the Attack Facebook Page and Attack Website Poll between November 24th and November 28th will win the Movember Ultimate Guys Night Out and will receive their prize at the November 30th home game vs. Barrie..a night out of their choice!

*The moustache must still be fully grown and no shaven prior to Nov 30th and the contestant must be present on Nov 30th to win.
