Motor City Cruise Announces February Matchup vs Team Ignite

DETROIT - The G League and Motor City Cruise announced that NBA G League Ignite will be traveling to Detroit for a matchup against the Cruise on Tuesday, February 15, at 7:00 p.m. ET.

NBA G League Ignite is a team comprised of top NBA Draft prospects, showcasing their skills on a professional level. Team Ignite had three players selected in the 2021 NBA Draft, two of which were selected in the top ten. Their game against the Cruise will be a part of a ten-game road trip for that will not count towards G League standings.

This is a great opportunity for our guys to compete against a highly competitive and young Ignite team," said Cruise head coach DJ Bakker. "We are excited to play team Ignite in front of our great fans here in Detroit-it will be a great atmosphere in Wayne State Arena."
