Moss Injured in Home Accident
May 14, 2015 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Jacksonville Sharks News Release
JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville Sharks head coach Les Moss was injured in an accident at his home this past Sunday. Moss suffered third-degree burns on his feet after standing on hot concrete. Due to previous neck injuries, Moss has limited feeling in his extremities.
As he recovers from his injuries, Moss must stay off his feet for the next several weeks. Therefore, he will not occupy his customary places on the bench and on the field during Saturday's game. Instead, Moss will coach from a booth above the field.
Moss' game preparation duties remain unchanged. Moss and the Sharks take on the Philadelphia Soul on Saturday, May 16, with kickoff on Sea Best Field set for 7:00 p.m.
