
Morgan named Baby Ruth Real Deal Offensive Player of the Week

(Fresno, CA) â Central Valley Coyotes' offensive specialist Kenyatte Morgan has been named the Baby Ruth Real Deal Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in leading the Coyotes to a 64-63 victory over the Hawaiian Islanders on Saturday in Fresno.
Morgan, who hauled in 7 receptions for 117 yards and 3 TDs also tallied six returns for 172 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown. Morgan also tied two franchise records during last weekends contest, most receptions in a season (107) and most points in a season (180). With one game remaining in the regular season, Morgan should have no problems breaking the records.
"Winning the game was the best feeling on the night. Winning the award and tying the records were just icing on the cake," said Morgan. "It was a team effort out their Saturday night, each player on this team including the coaches contributed to the victory. I am honored to receive the award and thankful too my teammates and coaches."
This weekend, Morgan will attempt too break the af2 records for most all-purpose yards in a season (record-3,472) (Morgan-3,307) and most kickoff return yards in a season (record-1,943) (Morgan-1,835).
On the season, Morgan is the current af2 leader in all-purpose yards, 3rd in receptions, 5th in receiving yards average and tied for 7th in scoring touchdowns.
