JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Chattanooga Lookouts at Bragan Field at 3:05 p.m.

Right-handed pitcher Robert Morey has been activated off Jacksonville's disabled list and will start for the Suns today against the Lookouts.

With the Suns Morey had no wins or losses and a 4.82 ERA in five relief appearances before he was placed on the disabled list with right biceps tendinitis on April 22. He made three rehab starts with the GCL Marlins, going 0-1 with an 0.93 ERA allowing only one earned run in nine and two-thirds innings on the mound, striking out 11 batters compared to one walk.

Also left-handed relief pitcher Greg Nappo has been transferred from Triple-A New Orleans to Jacksonville. With the Zephyrs this season, Nappo is 1-0 with a 8.44 ERA although in this last stint he had two scoreless outings in and inning and two-thirds.

Nappo has pitched in 24 games for the Suns, going 2-0 with a 2.20 ERA in 32 and two-third innings on the mound with one save. Nappo did not allow a run in his last 13 appearances and 20 and a third innings with Jacksonville.

In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Blake Logan has been transferred to High-A Jupiter. With the Suns he made one scoreless relief appearance on July 4, going two innings and only allowing one hit to Chattanooga.

The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players and a revised roster is attached.

Morey will start today for the Suns while the Lookouts will send out left-hander Chris Reed (4-6, 3.23).
