Rockford, IL- Monday afternoon, the Continental Basketball Association announced who will represent the Eastern Conference for the 21st CBA All-Star Classic January 19th. The Rockford Lightning had one player make the squad, guard/forward Marshall Phillips. Phillips is the only player from the Rockford Lightning to make the Eastern Conference All-Star squad.
This is the first time in his CBA career that Marshall Phillips has received All-Star selection honors. Phillips is fifth in the CBA in scoring average, and leads the team, averaging 19.8 points per game. Marshall is also third in the league in steals, averaging 2.6 per game, and he's second in the league in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 46.5% from behind the arc.
