
Mooseheads sign OHL veteran Rane Carnegie

Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today that the Halifax Mooseheads have signed 19-year-old winger Rane Carnegie, a veteran of three seasons of major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League.
Carnegie amassed 109 points in 162 games with Belleville Bulls and Plymouth Whalers, 51 goals and 58 assists.
Born Jan. 02, 1985 in Toronto, ON, Carnegie now resides in Dartmouth, NS
"We have been working for some time to obtain Rane's release from the OHL and we are very happy that we have been able to sign him," Patenaude said. "I would like to thank QMJHL Commissioner Gilles Courteau, OHL Commissioner Dave Branch and Coach and General Manager Larry Mavety of the Kingston Frontenacs, who owned Rane Carnegie's rights, for their efforts in enabling Rane to fulfill his desire of playing with the Mooseheads."
