
Mooseheads Recall Trey Lewis

Sixteen year old Trey Lewis, Halifax Mooseheads' fourth selection (round 4, #67) in the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft, has been recalled for games this week against the Saint John Sea Dogs, Mooseheads' Head Coach and General manager Cam Russell confirmed today.
Lewis, a 6'00", 185 lb. defenseman, has been playing this season with the Miramichi Midget AAA team in the N.B. / P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League where he has recorded four goals and six assists in 11 games, while amassing 22 penalty minutes.
The Mooseheads' second selection in the same draft, 6'00", 170 lb. defenseman Jamie Bishop, also 16, selected in round two, #19, is also currently with the Mooseheads, after playing 10 games with Saint John Midget AAA in the N.B. / P.E.I. Major Midget League, where he has picked up two assists to go with 20 penalty minutes.
Both players are expected to suit up with Halifax when they take on the Saint John Sea Dogs in a home and home series over the next two nights, playing at Saint John Thursday and back at Metro Centre Friday night (Dec. 18, 7:00 p.m.)
