July 17, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, today announced the Moose will take on the University of Manitoba Bisons men's hockey team in a prospects game at the T.G. Smith Centre in Steinbach, MB on Tuesday, September 30th at 7:30 PM. Tickets will range from $10 for adults, $5 for students, while kids under the age of five will be admitted for free.

This announcement completes the Moose exhibition schedule. As released earlier, the Moose will participate in a pre-season tournament against the Toronto Marlies and Hamilton Bulldogs in St. John's, NFLD from October 2nd to October 5th.

This will be the fifth time the Moose and Bisons have faced each other in pre-season action. Last season, the two played a prospects game for the first-time ever in Steinbach with the Moose emerging as 7-1 victors. In 2002, the Moose defeated the Bisons 7-3 and then in 2005, the two teams split a pair of games.
