
Moose sign Olivier Labelle

Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed forward Olivier Labelle to an American Hockey League contract.
Labelle, 23, appeared in eight games last season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL where he collected a goal and 13 penalty minutes. The St. Eustache, PQ native also played in 52 games with the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies where he scored 26 goals and 22 assists for 48 points and 169 penalty minutes, as well as 15 games in the post-season where he scored four goals and seven assists for 11 points and 33 penalty minutes. Labelle previously spent the 2006-07 season with the Syracuse Crunch where he scored 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points and 153 penalty minutes.
