
Moose sign Jordie Benn

Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed defenceman Jordie Benn to an American Hockey League contract.
Benn, 21, played in 60 games last season with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL where he scored 15 goals and 32 assists for 47 points and 78 penalty minutes. The Victoria, BC native also scored eight powerplay goals and had a pair of game-winning goals. At the end of the season, he was named the Grizzlies Most Valuable Player as well as their top defenceman
In four seasons in Victoria, Benn scored 24 goals and 90 assists for 114 points and 207 penalty minutes in 172 games.
