
Moose, Red River College Kick-Off "I Love to Read" Month at Millenium Library

The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with Red River College, are proud to announce the organization is once again participating in the annual "I Love To Read Month" program throughout the community in the month of February. Moose players will be visiting 10 different schools on Monday, February 6th, 2006.
The Moose and Red River College are also combining to kick-off the campaign on Monday, as Mike Keane, AlexanderBolduc, and Rick Rypien will join RRC President Jeff Zabudsky in reading to the students from Sister McNamara School, discussing the students' favourite books, and signing autographs at the Millenium Library.
The entire Moose team will be involved in visiting children in their classrooms on February 6th. During the school visits, players will be available to read to the students and sign autographs. A reading workbook created by the students at RRC has been distributed to the classrooms to encourage the students' involvement. There are a number of prizes to be won, including tickets to see the Moose in action - donated by RRC. The students will also be eligible to win an exciting day spent at RRC exploring the Culinary Arts and Broadcast programs.
The Moose organization would like to send out a sincere thank-you to all of the schools that have participated in the program.
