Moose Recall Pope From Bakersfield

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have recalled right-winger Matt Pope from the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

Pope, 25, has appeared in six games with Bakersfield since being assigned to the club on Feb. 11/10. In that time, he has recorded eight points (4g & 4a) along with two penalty minutes. Pope started the season in 25 games with the Moose where he collected an assist on Jan. 8/10 vs. Hershey. He made his Moose debut during the 2008-09 season when he appeared in eight regular season games and collected five points (2g & 3a). The right-winger also played in 12 Calder Cup Playoff games with Manitoba where he collected six points (3g & 3a).
