
Moore Honored as SherWood Player of the Month; Playoff Schedule Announced

The Twin City Cyclones Professional Ice Hockey Team, members of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), are proud to announce that forward Daryl Moore has been selected as the Sherwood Player of the Month for March. A native of Brantford, Ontario, Moore recorded six goals and twelve assists during the month of March, rising from 6th place to 3rd place in the league-leading scorers category. The 2007-08 season was Moore's second season with the Cyclones. During the regular season, he posted 72 points (28 goals, 44 assists) and also recorded the most shorthanded goals in the League with seven. Moore and the Cyclones will be looking to extend their season even more as they venture into the first round of the SPHL Playoffs against the Jacksonville Barracudas in a best of three series. Game One is set for Friday, March 29th in Jacksonville at 7:30PM. For Game Two, the Cyclones will return to home ice on Sunday, March 30th at 4:30PM. If Game Three is forced, it will be held in Jacksonville on Wednesday, April 2nd.
