
Monumental Network to Broadcast Mystics' Game on Friday, June 21

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Monumental Network (www.monumentalnetwork.com) will broadcast the Washington Mystics' road game against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday, June 21, at 10:00 p.m. ET. Monumental Network will be the only place to see the game live and free of charge to viewers within a 75-mile radius of Washington, D.C.
The Mystics (4-1) are off to their best start since the 2009 season under the leadership of coach Mike Thibault and the play of All-Star Crystal Langhorne, veterans Ivory Latta, Monique Currie and Kia Vaughn. Thibault is second all-time in WNBA career wins with 210. He will have the chance to tie the record set by former Houston Comets coach Van Chancellor (211) when Washington travels west to take on the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, June 18 on Liveaccess at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Following the game in Seattle, the team will make their way to Phoenix to face the surging Mercury (2-4), whose roster includes perennial All-Star Diana Taurasi and rookie sensation Brittney Griner.
